Start-ups and Global Disruptors

2年生 夏学期

この科目は、スタートアップを目指す起業家に必 な基礎知識を身につけることを目的としています。この科目では、問題の特定からアイデアの発想、起業のピッチデッキの作成まで、全体を通して学生を指導します。今回は、スタートアップ企業家、知的財産権の専門家、エンジェル投資家、Airbnb のディレクターであるSteven LIEW 氏をゲスト講師としてお招きしました。

4 つの講義は、問題やアイデアからビジネスを成功させるために必要なさまざまな要素を学生に提供するために用意されました。最後に、スタートアップ企業が成長する過程で資金を調達するさまざまな方法を紹介しました。この科目には、学生が講師やゲスト講師に自分の提案について相談するコンサルテーションセッションが2回含まれています。

This subject aims to provide students with the fundamental understanding of what is required of entrepreneurs wanting to create a Start-up. The subject takes the students through the entire life cycle of a Start-up, from problem identification to ideation to creating a Start-up pitch-deck. We were able to have experienced Start-up entrepreneur, Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) expert, Angel Investor, and a director in Airbnb Mr Steven LIEW as a guest lecturer for this subject.

Four lectures were prepared to bring students through all the different elements needed to build a successful business out of a problem and an idea. Finaly, it introduced students to the different ways a Start-up can raise funds as it grows. The subject included two consultation sessions where students consulted the instructors and guest lecturer regarding their proposals. Students would end the subject finale with a Start-up pitching session.
